Since High School: After I graduated, I attended Baylor University. I graduated in 1988 with a B.S. in Education. After Baylor, I taught Kindergarten for six years in a little town east of Waco (Mart, TX). One exciting adventure I had during the summer of 1990 was traveling to Guatemala to attend language school and work in a children's orphanage. Life changing! God expanded my heart for the nations during this trip! I married in 1992. We have been happily married for almost fourteen years now! My how time flies! After the birth of our first daughter, Charis, I resigned from my teaching position to be at home with her. In 2001, we moved to Colorado Springs where my husband had a roofing business, (tough season in our lives!). We moved back to the Waco area last March (200) after the death of a dear friend. I had been homeschooling my daughters from the beginning, but when we returned to Waco, we found an incredible classical school. The school allowed us to start in April of 2005 and let me substitute teach. It was perfect! The school was using some of the same curriculum I had been using with our girls. My girls are now attending full time and I am teaching Kindergarten (my favorite!) again. Thanks for much for doing this website! It is great to "connect" again!
