What goes around comes around. Bands of the 80's seem to be reuniting, touring, recording, etc. Listed below are some of the recent happenings from bands from our high school years. Here are a few artists as more will be added soon. Bands A-D listed. Click on the links to visit their websites.

ABC-Remember the hits-Shoot that Poison Arrow, Look of Love, When Smoky Sings, Bear Near Me? ABC recently reunited (sort of) with two of the four members for a recent Bands Reunited show with Martin Fry (vocals) and David Palmer (drums). Great performance!

Adam Ant-Biggest hit was "Goody Two-Shoes" has done quite a bit since then. Still performing.

Animotion-This band still sounds great. Here is the link to a recent video at their website.

B-52's-Amazingly this band is still around. What was a high school dance without Rock Lobster. Currently touring with Cher?

Berlin-The Metro, Masquerade, No More Words, Take My Breath Away (well scratch the last one). Excellent show on Bands Reunited as the original members reunited and had a great time. Click here for more info on that show. Rumor has it that John Crawford got somewhat of a bug to start writing again and has a few mp3's floating out on the web. Heard a clip, nice work :) Terri Nunn is still touring with her band as Berlin. They've added more of a raw edge to the hits mentioned above.

Culture Club-What was a Boy George? They actually reunited in 1998 for VH1's Storytellers Series. First time together in 13 years. A live CD and their greatest "moments" evolved from that show. Check out the site. Very cool.

Duran Duran-The original lineup is back! Just released a new CD called Astronaut. Reach Up for the Sunrise is the first single from the CD. Special Limited Editions of the CD are available with a DVD. They're sounding as good as ever. US Tour coming soon.
