Update on 3rd Annual TOES IN THE SAND Weekend, Port Royal Condos, Port A., Sept. 25-27, 2009.

Start making your reservations! In order to receive the group rates below, please make your reservations at Port Royal by August 26, 2009. Identify yourself as a member of the Carroll H.S. Reunion. You'll be required to pay a deposit of the first night's room and tax, plus a $25 reservation fee (sorry, they wouldn't budge on the exemption this year). Changes to arrival or departure must be confirmed at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date.

RATES: One bedroom (max 4 ppl.) $175 per night; Two bedroom pool view (max 6 ppl.) $217 per night; Three bedroom (max 8 ppl.) $243 per night.

The Toes in the Sand weekend began as a collection of the classes of 1982, 1983 and 1984, but all are welcome! Please RSVP through Facebook to Jennifer Meerdink Henry or Dennis Campbell so we can have an idea of how many to expect. Let us know if you are staying somewhere else too. See you there!

The 25-year reunion for the Carroll Class of '83 took place September 26th and 27th (2008) in Port Aransas. A special thanks to Mark and Loan Herndon for opening their beautiful beach front home to host the Friday night mixer. Also a BIG thanks to Glenn Mayo, Butch Pool, Nanci Howard Gandy, and Dennis Campbell for all their efforts in making the event happen. Pictures will be coming soon! Great to see fellow '82 Tigers as well.

You can never question the competitiveness of our Carroll Tigers as the water volleyball team of Steve Archer, John Carle, Rodney Sullivan, Dave Dunaway, Allen Gibson, Butch Pool, Don Dalton and others dominated a three-game series against a vacationing group of teenagers. Pictures to come.

Port Royal was a great location. Hopefully this can turn into an annual event.

9/3/2007: Carroll High School will be celebrating its 50th year anniversary October 4th-6th. A series of events will take place which will be "burning of the C", alumni brunch, campus tours, homecoming game, dedication ceremony. Print the registration form and mail in to the address listed. 8/31/2007: The Class of '82 has cordially invited alumni from the graduating Classes of '81 and '83 to attend their 25 year reuinon. More info can be found at their reunion website.
